Prior to your first appointment, a client consultation form will be sent via email to be completed to allow for a tailored treatment plan to be developed for the individual.
The first treatment is typically 5 minutes longer than subsequent treatments to allow for any further discussion.
Reflexology
At the start of the treatment I will explain a little how Reflexology works and then encourage you to lay back and relax and enjoy. You have the choice of lying on the massage couch or in the reclining lafuma chair. The treatment involves massaging and applying pressure to all areas of the feet (or hands). Do not worry if you have ticklish feet - the pressure I apply will be firm enough that this is not normally an issue. I will work over all the reflex points on both feet (or hands), should there be an imbalanced reflex you may feel a little tender in that area but I will work with this and adjust my pressure as required. A Reflexology treatment should be a pleasurable and relaxing experience. Some clients want to just lay back and relax during the treatment, some even fall asleep! It is a very individual experience - it is your 'me time'!
Aromareflex
This longer Reflexology session has the additional benefit of a foot soak infused with essential oils followed by a full Reflexology treatment using a bespoke blend of oils chosen just for you. You will be given your blend pot to take home so that you can maximise the benefits of your treatment.
NEPIP Reflexology
A foot reflexology session with a difference. After the relaxation routine both feet are treated simultaneously for approximately 30 minutes focusing on increasing the flow of communication between the mind and the immune, endocrine and nervous systems. I will work with focussed intent and invite you to be guided through some visualisation techniques and relaxation. I will then work the feet individually for the remainder of the treatment.
Indian Head Massage
You will be invited to take a seat on a low backed chair or on a forward facing massage chair. Oils are optional - if used, upper body clothing is removed and a large towel is used to ensure modesty. A range of different massage techniques will be used over the upper back, shoulders, arms, neck and scalp area. Additional pressure points on the face will also be stimulated.
Gentle Release Therapy
Gentle Release Therapy is a fully clothed therapy. You will normally lie comfortably on your back on a treatment couch, supported with pillows and bolsters.
People often feel very relaxed after their treatment. Some report feeling totally de-stressed and more balanced, others more energised. It is important to drink plenty of water after a treatment to assist 'flushing' out waste products from the body. It is advisable to avoid stimulants such as caffeine and alcohol and to try and rest to allow the body time for self healing.
Try not to plan too much after your treatment, try to take it easy. Scheduling time to relax afterwards would be perfect!
